Alaina Suddeth, born September 8, 1994, from Rossville Georgia was the daughter of Kristy Suddeth, and J. J. Suddeth. Her father works as process engineer at Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to perform at age three. Her first public performances followed by a choir for children and the annual holiday spot which offered Karaoke. The singer sang at church, restaurants, holidays with family and any other gathering within a 30 mile radius from her home. Alaina competed at the Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and took the crown. In the following year, she was on the Kids Talent Stage during the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. This festival permitted the contest on its main stage when she was 12, after having been performing there each year. She travelled from Orlando, Florida, when she was ten years old to compete with the American Model and Talent Competition. She managed to defeat over 1500 contestants during the contest. Alaina sang as part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's children's group. Her first visit to Nashville was when she was of 12.
